"Where were you all that time?" her father asked, comming out of the kitchen. "Jeena slipped out of her collar again.

His mother stepped outside with his father and started dancing. He kept singing, knowing they liked his song.
"Just said hi
As you walked bye
And when you smiled
My whole heart skipped a beat.

And maybe I don't
Know what love is
But this seems pretty damn right..."

"I see, I guess we should get a new one then." he said. "You've been saying that for a while now." her mother replied, smirking and getting up to kiss him. "I'll be in my room!"

He entered the chorus of the piece. His parents had gone inside by now, but he kept singing, finding himself getting deeper and deeper into the song. His voice got louder, as if he wanted somebody to hear.
"I can't get you off my mind
Here we are now
Just me and you.
No restraints
No limitations.

We can hide this for all our lives
But why don't we just

Just to see
If we were meant to be."

She found her window open, and was about to close it when the wind brought a song to her ears. It was lovely, and she couldn't stop listening.

"If I ever work up the courage
To tell you how I feel
Well
I guess I'd say
These three words.....
I love you."
He ended the song with one quiet strum of his guitar.

Beautiful! You come up with that just now?

"Beautiful..." she whispered, quietly closing the window and sitting down on her bed.

"She'll never hear it..." he spoke to himself as he packed his guiatr up in his case and headed inside.

"It almost sounded like that guy, maybe it was him." she said, sighing. "I wonder who it was for..."

He sat down on the edge of his bed and took out his notebook, filling it with sketches. One of them was bigger than all the rest; it was perfectly centered. It was her face... As beautiful as ever. He didn't know how, but he just.... loved her.

Love at first sight :3

She pulled out her journal, and wrote an entire page on Haru. The way he first looked at her, how she felt when they met eyes, and his voice... It was strange, she'd never felt this way before over a long term relationship, so why did she feel this way about someone she just met?

surprisingly i'm pretty educated on the subject. though i've never actually had the feeling myself.

He wrote her name in beautifully scrawled cursive. Lilian

She ended it with a question. Will I ever see you again, Haru..?

I wish... he wrote next to her name, as if he would make a list. He jumped as his father opened the door to his room. He quickly closed the notebook and cleared his throat. "Go to bed. Now." It was about midnight. He nodded and quickly got ready, then climbed into his bed. He thought about Lilian.

"We're going to bed, don't stay up to late." her mother called up, but she had already slipped into dream world.

He stared at his ceiling for what seemed like hours, wondering if he would see Lilian again...

She dreamt of Haru. His smile, the texture of his voice, and everything she knew of him. She would see him again, she had too.

He slowly drifted off to sleep and dreamt about Lilian. The way her eyes glowed when she spoke, the way her hair fell perfectly without her trying, and her sweet, soothing voice. He wouldn't live with himself if he couldn't see her once more.

When she awoke in the morning the flew down the stairs to the bathroom. A quick shower, brushing of the teeth, and a quick and simple poneytail.

He awoke groggily to the sound of his alarm. He turned it off and took a shower, throwing on a sweatshirt and jeans. He combed through his hair quickly, giving it the 'messy yet neat' look. He then shoved his feet into sneakers.

She carefully choose a navy tank, black bell bottoms, a tan button coat, and a dark pair of high tops. She peeked out of her room, and quickly walked out the door before either of her parents could stop her.

He grabbed his guitar and sat outside, tuning it. He started to play quiet chords. This was his way of saying, "Wake up world; the sun's shining."

She took her bike from the garage, and started pedling. When she had gained enough speed, she simply glinded.

He now entered a song that described a rising sun... At least to him. Now words; just the melodic sound of his guitar.
